Hazel Crest vs Las Vegas -which is better?

Alright, We're a young couple and Rent is about $1,439/month for a decent place. Homes are going for about $181,400 on average. With a population of 13,493, Hazel Crest is a small town. The median home value here is around $181,400, which is actually reasonable. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. What do you all think? It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The city has invested a lot in new development. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The weather takes some getting used to.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are underrated, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.
