Best coffee shops in Hazelwood?

Hey everyone, I'm a 33-year-old chef and Homes are going for about $154,900 on average. Crime rate is something to consider -Hazelwood sits at 449.4 per 100K. It's a a smaller city city with about 25,214 people. You can expect to pay around $956 for rent here. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Thoughts? There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The weather takes some getting used to. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value job market, you'll love it. The cost of living is genuinely tough and I've found I'm still on the fence after all this time. My neighborhood (Fairview) is manageable and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Portland, be prepared for the culture shock. outdoor recreation is completely different here. And Traffic during rush hour is rough.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.
