Career opportunities in Hazelwood, MO

I'm originally from Omaha and The unemployment rate is 6.0%, which is about average. Crime rate is something to consider -Hazelwood sits at 449.4 per 100K. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

I've lived in Westside for about 12 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. When I first moved here from Nashville, I was surprised by food scene. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Four distinct seasons
- The public transit scene is challenging

The downsides:
- Not very walkable outside downtown
- Far from beaches/mountains

Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for singles. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

I'm a project manager and I've found I have mixed feelings honestly. The community is decent and there's always something going on.

I'm still on the fence after all this time. When I first moved here from Pittsburgh, I was surprised by traffic. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- The safety scene is excellent

The downsides:
- Not a lot of cultural diversity
- Bugs and humidity in summer

Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for singles. Good luck with whatever you decide..

We moved here with our family and it's been a really good experience overall. Schools in Cedar Grove area are decent. Kids love it here.
