Hey, I'm a teacher here and Poverty rate is 3.4%, which is pretty low. Crime rate is something to consider -Heathcote sits at 68.6 per 100K. With a population of 6,689, Heathcote is a small town. Median household income is $127,391, which feels pretty solid for the area. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Anyone in a similar situation? Property taxes are high but you get good services.
