What Heathcote does better than anywhere else

Random thought, Just moved here 15 months ago and Homes are going for about $563,500 on average. The median home value here is around $563,500, which is pretty steep. Poverty rate is 3.4%, which is pretty low. It's a a small town city with about 6,689 people. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Has anyone dealt with this? The weather takes some getting used to. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The suburbs are where most families end up. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

My experience has been mostly positive. the quality of life is solid. The only thing I'd watch out for is cost of living. Other than that, Would recommend to anyone considering it..

Bought a house here in 2019 and it was the best decision I ever made. Property values have gone up a bit since then.
