Is Hebron worth it salary-wise?

First post here. I've been here for 19 years and Crime rate is something to consider -Hebron sits at 195.2 per 100K. Average temperature is around 55--F, so expect cold winters. With a population of 6,637, Hebron is a small town. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Is this normal for Hebron? The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The weather takes some getting used to. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Property taxes are high but you get good services. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The city has invested a lot in new development.

The food scene here is tough. Tons of great craft beer places. I love the pace of life here.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, it exceeded my expectations. It's not for everyone but it works for us..
