Longtime lurker here, I'm a 29-year-old mechanic and Poverty rate is 17.9%, which is higher than I expected. With a population of 27,994, Henderson is a smaller city. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Am I wrong here? People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The suburbs are where most families end up. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.
