Starting a business in Henderson?

My partner and I are Homes are going for about $116,800 on average. Poverty rate is 21.6%, which is higher than I expected. The unemployment rate is 3.0%, which is pretty low. Median household income is $38,780, which feels on the lower side for the area. With a population of 14,922, Henderson is a small town. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Any advice would be great. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Property taxes are high but you get good services. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 14 years ago from New York and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Older homes are where the value is. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Lakewood. It's excellent for what you get.

Jobs: The market is stable right now, especially in real estate. If you're in construction you might struggle.

People: Generally surprisingly good. It took about 18 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: average. Tons of options if you like Vietnamese.

No regrets on my end..
