Freelancing from Henderson — experience?

Hey folks, Rent is about $1,750/month for a decent place. Homes are going for about $465,000 on average. The city has invested a lot in new development. The weather takes some getting used to. Am I wrong here? There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The food scene here is surprisingly good. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

Moved here from San Diego about 5 years ago. I love the pace of life here. Still getting used to cost of living but Happy to answer more specific questions..

The food scene here is pretty good. Tons of great farm-to-table places. I'm still on the fence after all this time.
