Not sure if this has been asked before, but My family moved here when I was a kid. Average temperature is around 67°F, so the weather is moderate. Crime rate is something to consider — Henderson sits at 170.9 per 100K. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Am I overthinking this? It's not perfect, but the community is solid. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The suburbs are where most families end up. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.
