Should I move to Henderson or stay in Phoenix?

I've been here for 5 years and Crime rate is something to consider — Henderson sits at 170.9 per 100K. Median household income is $88,654, which feels pretty solid for the area. Average temperature is around 67°F, so the weather is moderate. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The suburbs are where most families end up. Worth the trade-offs? There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The suburbs are where most families end up. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's changing fast — some good, some not so much. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.

I've lived in Lakewood for about 8 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's improved dramatically in recent years. When I first moved here from Seattle, I was surprised by cost of living. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Strong job market in several industries
- Four distinct seasons
- The school system scene is pretty good

The downsides:
- Rising rent and home prices
- Bugs and humidity in summer

Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for families. Happy to answer more specific questions..
