Housing market in Hendersonville right now

OK so Been living here since 2008. You can expect to pay around $1,232 for rent here. The city has invested a lot in new development. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. What do you all think? Night life is decent if you know the right spots. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a marketing manager who relocated here from San Francisco about 11 years ago. The main reasons were retirement and retirement.

Pros I've experienced:
- Good schools in most areas
- Good internet infrastructure
- Good airport with direct flights

Cons that are real:
- Property taxes are high
- Far from beaches/mountains

Financially, we've found it pretty good compared to where we came from. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. Groceries are growing, gas is challenging.

Socially, the quality of life is solid. No regrets on my end..

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem better than expected.

I've been here 8 years and I love the pace of life here. The thing nobody mentions is pet-friendliness. It's developing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the healthcare is legit. And if you're into biking, this place is excellent.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The West side vs the Sunset side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
