Unpopular opinion about Henryetta

So, I relocated for work and The unemployment rate is 4.8%, which is about average. Average temperature is around 60--F, so the weather is moderate. The median home value here is around $86,100, which is actually reasonable. Homes are going for about $86,100 on average. You can expect to pay around $752 for rent here. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The city has invested a lot in new development. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

Pros:
- Affordable cost of living
- Great weather
- Nice parks and trails

Cons:
- Few job opportunities in some fields
- Mosquitoes and humidity
- Limited cultural events
It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem surprisingly good.

I've been here 2 years and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The thing nobody mentions is job market. It's developing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the food scene is legit. And if you're into biking, this place is surprisingly good.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The West side vs the Uptown side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Definitely worth checking out..
