What Hereford does better than anywhere else

Hello, Crime rate is something to consider -Hereford sits at 549.8 per 100K. Poverty rate is 12.4%, which is around average. Property taxes are high but you get good services. What neighborhoods would you suggest? Property taxes are high but you get good services.

I've lived in Oak Park for about 4 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's not perfect but it works for me. When I first moved here from San Diego, I was surprised by school system. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Good healthcare facilities
- The public transit scene is excellent

The downsides:
- Chain restaurants dominate
- Can feel isolated

Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for couples. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

Came here for cost of living and stayed because it's exactly what I was looking for. The housing market is honestly pretty good and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
