First post here. I'm retired and Homes are going for about $554,900 on average. Crime rate is something to consider -Herriman sits at 77.9 per 100K. With a population of 57,336, Herriman is a smaller city. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. What would you do? Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The weather takes some getting used to. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.
