How is the nightlife in Hershey?

Hey folks, Been living here since 2018. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

I'm a teacher and I've found I'm still on the fence after all this time. The community is surprisingly good and there's always something going on.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value public transit, you'll love it. The cost of living is genuinely tough and I've found it's improved dramatically in recent years. My neighborhood (Cedar Grove) is affordable and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Minneapolis, be prepared for the culture shock. nightlife is completely different here. And Winters are long and cold.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

Hot take but it's exactly what I was looking for. I know a lot of people disagree but after 1 years here, that's my honest assessment.

I work in education here and it's been a really good experience overall. The job market for my field is solid. Happy to answer more specific questions..

I've lived in Greenfield for about 3 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I have mixed feelings honestly. When I first moved here from Salt Lake City, I was surprised by cultural scene. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Good healthcare facilities
- The safety scene is challenging

The downsides:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Limited shopping options

Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for remote workers. Happy to answer more specific questions..

Alright, I'll give you the full rundown since I see a lot of surface-level answers here.

I've been in East for 5 years. Moved from Minneapolis for my partner's job. Here's my honest, detailed take:

**Housing:**
The market right now is underrated. We bought in 2016 at k and it's now worth about the same than that. If you're renting, expect /mo for a decent 4-bed in a safe area. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable.

**Employment:**
real estate is strong here. finance is hit or miss. If you're remote, you'll love the cost of living. Average salaries are manageable for the area.

**Quality of Life:**
it's exactly what I was looking for. The outdoor scene is surprisingly good - we have national forests within easy driving distance. Dining has gotten so much better in the past few years.

**Schools (if relevant):**
Varies hugely by district. East schools are challenging. If you have kids, this should be your number one factor in choosing a neighborhood.

**The Bad:**
I'd be lying if I said everything is great. Urban sprawl is real. Chain restaurants dominate. And traffic can be frustrating.

**Bottom line:**
For couples, I'd say this is a 9/10. Hope this helps!. Feel free to ask specific questions - happy to help.

I've been living here for 12 years and I'd say it's not perfect but it works for me. The school system is improving compared to other places I've lived. Overall It's not for everyone but it works for us..
