The median home value here is around $366,800, which seems about average. With a population of 100K, Hesperia is a mid-size city. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Am I overthinking this? Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The weather takes some getting used to. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.
