Random thought, I relocated for work and The median home value here is around $359,200, which seems about average. The unemployment rate is 2.3%, which is pretty low. The city has invested a lot in new development. Any advice would be great. Appreciate any input. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's changing fast — some good, some not so much.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 2-bedroom. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Compared to LA it's average.

I've lived in Westside for about 7 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
it's been a really good experience overall. When I first moved here from Atlanta, I was surprised by healthcare. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Good internet infrastructure
- The housing market scene is pretty good
The downsides:
- Homeless population growing downtown
- Limited entertainment options
Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for couples. Definitely worth checking out..

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Internet is decent in most areas.
