Alright, I'm single, late 40s, and You can expect to pay around $1,558 for rent here. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Should I be concerned? It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Moved here from Seattle about 13 years ago. it's not perfect but it works for me. Still getting used to walkability but Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

Came here for school and stayed because I genuinely enjoy living here. The cost of living is honestly pretty good and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

As someone who grew up here, it exceeded my expectations. A lot has changed in the past few years though. outdoor recreation used to be much pricey but now it's improving.
