Moving to Hialeah for work — advice?

First post here. Just moved here 4 months ago and Average temperature is around 76°F, so it's warm year-round. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Anyone in a similar situation? The food scene here is surprisingly good. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem hit or miss.

I've been here 7 years and I love the pace of life here. The thing nobody mentions is public transit. It's wild and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the cultural scene is legit. And if you're into fishing, this place is solid.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Lakewood side vs the Riverside side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

No regrets on my end..
