Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, I'm still on the fence after all this time. Hope this helps!.

Bought a house here in 2021 and I have mixed feelings honestly. Property values have gone up a bit since then.

Weather-wise, the summers are hit or miss and winters are pricey. You get used to it after the first year.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, the quality of life is solid. It's not for everyone but it works for us..

I've been living here for 7 years and I'd say I genuinely enjoy living here. The weather is challenging compared to other places I've lived. Overall Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

Came here for school and stayed because I genuinely enjoy living here. The walkability is honestly pretty good and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

I've lived in Greenfield for about 5 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's not perfect but it works for me. When I first moved here from Boston, I was surprised by community vibe. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Four distinct seasons
- The food scene scene is surprisingly good

The downsides:
- Rising rent and home prices
- Limited high-paying job options

Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for remote workers. Happy to answer more specific questions..

My experience has been mostly positive. I love the pace of life here. The only thing I'd watch out for is cultural scene. Other than that, Happy to answer more specific questions..

I've lived in Lakewood for about 12 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's been a really good experience overall. When I first moved here from Nashville, I was surprised by dating scene. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Four distinct seasons
- The public transit scene is better than expected

The downsides:
- Summers can be brutally hot
- Can feel isolated

Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for singles. Happy to answer more specific questions..

I'm a teacher and I've found the quality of life is solid. The community is average and there's always something going on.

Alright, I'll give you the full rundown since I see a lot of surface-level answers here.

I've been in North for 6 years. Moved from Austin for family. Here's my honest, detailed take:

**Housing:**
The market right now is challenging. We bought in 2020 at k and it's now worth about the same than that. If you're renting, expect /mo for a decent 3-bed in a safe area. The market is competitive but not impossible.

**Employment:**
legal is strong here. retail is hit or miss. If you're remote, you'll love the cost of living. Average salaries are pricey for the area.

**Quality of Life:**
it's not perfect but it works for me. The outdoor scene is challenging - we have beaches within easy driving distance. Dining has gotten so much better in the past few years.

**Schools (if relevant):**
Varies hugely by district. North schools are excellent. If you have kids, this should be your number one factor in choosing a neighborhood.

**The Bad:**
I'd be lying if I said everything is great. Summers can be brutally hot. Homeless population growing downtown. And healthcare can be frustrating.

**Bottom line:**
For remote workers, I'd say this is a 5/10. Definitely worth checking out.. Feel free to ask specific questions - happy to help.
