Moving to Hibbing -what should I know?
Longtime lurker here, With a population of 16,100, Hibbing is a small town. Is this normal for Hibbing?

Used to live on the Springfield side, now on the Riverside side. Completely different vibe. it's been a really good experience overall.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem excellent.
I've been here 8 years and there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The thing nobody mentions is dating scene. It's developing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the cost of living is legit. And if you're into mountain biking, this place is tough.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Midtown side vs the Uptown side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
