Day-to-day life in Hickory Hills, IL

Anyone else feel this way? Average temperature is around 51--F, so expect cold winters. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Thanks!

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem tough.

I've been here 4 years and I love the pace of life here. The thing nobody mentions is job market. It's wild and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the housing market is legit. And if you're into camping, this place is solid.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The South side vs the Oak Park side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

No regrets on my end..

I work in finance here and it's improved dramatically in recent years. The job market for my field is challenging. Definitely worth checking out..
