Best restaurants in Hidalgo?

Curious what people think. Household incomes average around $53,667 in Hidalgo. Has anyone dealt with this?

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem decent.

I've been here 2 years and I'm still on the fence after all this time. The thing nobody mentions is community vibe. It's growing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the cultural scene is legit. And if you're into hiking, this place is excellent.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Meadowbrook side vs the Lakewood side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

No regrets on my end..

Used to live on the Midtown side, now on the Fairview side. Completely different vibe. I have mixed feelings honestly.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is walkability. it's improved dramatically in recent years. Worth doing your research before committing.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, it's improved dramatically in recent years. Good luck with whatever you decide..

I've been living here for 13 years and I'd say it exceeded my expectations. The housing market is excellent compared to other places I've lived. Overall It's not for everyone but it works for us..
