What Highland does better than anywhere else

We have two kids and Average temperature is around 65--F, so the weather is moderate. Household incomes average around $77,979 in Highland. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Am I overthinking this?

Public transit is improving here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it's improved dramatically in recent years.
