Things that make Highland City unique

Rent is about $1,679/month for a decent place. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. TIA! The weather takes some getting used to. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, I'm still on the fence after all this time. Would recommend to anyone considering it..

I've lived in Midtown for about 15 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it was the best decision I ever made. When I first moved here from Tampa, I was surprised by nightlife. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Four distinct seasons
- Diverse dining options
- The cultural scene scene is surprisingly good

The downsides:
- Dating scene is rough
- Bugs and humidity in summer

Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for young professionals. Good luck with whatever you decide..
