Planning a move to Highland Park -neighborhoods?

Longtime lurker here, My family moved here when I was a kid. Homes are going for about $594,400 on average. Median household income is $161,875, which feels pretty solid for the area. With a population of 30,229, Highland Park is a smaller city. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Any advice would be great. Appreciate any input. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.
