Things that make Highland Park unique

OK so I grew up here but left for a while. Household incomes average around $161,875 in Highland Park. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Anyone in a similar situation? Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are better than expected, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want traffic, then yeah this place is great. But if community vibe matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

Bought a house here in 2019 and I'm still on the fence after all this time. Property values have gone down slightly since then.
