Is Highlands Ranch worth it salary-wise?

Longtime lurker here, I grew up here but left for a while. Poverty rate is 1.4%, which is pretty low. It's a a mid-size city city with about 101K people. Average temperature is around 48--F, so expect cold winters. Median household income is $155,847, which feels pretty solid for the area. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The suburbs are where most families end up. Would love some local perspective. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The food scene here is surprisingly good. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The weather takes some getting used to. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.

We moved here with our family and I have mixed feelings honestly. Schools in Sunset area are hit or miss. Kids love it here.
