Just moved here 18 months ago and Rent is about $1,364/month for a decent place. You can expect to pay around $1,364 for rent here. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Thoughts? Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Property taxes are high but you get good services. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The city has invested a lot in new development.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I have mixed feelings honestly. Internet is average in most areas.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is walkability. it's been a really good experience overall. Worth doing your research before committing.

OK I'm going to write a proper review because I've seen too many incomplete answers.
Background: I'm a marketing manager, 35, moved here 9 years ago from Miami. I've lived in Eastside and Greenfield, and traveled to most parts of the metro.
**What I love:**
1. Good healthcare facilities
2. Good internet infrastructure
3. Strong sense of community
4. The people are generally improving - I found my community within the first year
**What I don't love:**
1. Traffic during rush hour is rough
2. Urban sprawl is real
3. The dating scene situation is wild and doesn't seem to be improving
**Neighborhoods I'd recommend:**
- Eastside: Great for couples. underrated vibes, walkable.
- Greenfield: More affordable, family-friendly.
**Neighborhoods I'd avoid:**
- Without naming names, stay away from areas east of downtown until you know the city better.
**Cost comparison:**
Coming from Miami, everything felt pretty good. Rent is about /mo. Groceries are competitive. Gas is manageable. You can live comfortably on $80K-$140K here.
**Final verdict:**
Hope this helps!. It's not perfect - nowhere is - but for the price point and quality of life, it's hard to beat. DM me if you have specific questions.
