It's a a small town city with about 1,049 people. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Does this match your experience? It's not perfect, but the community is solid. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 10 years ago from New York and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Older homes are where the value is. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Midtown. It's challenging for what you get.
Jobs: The market is pricey right now, especially in marketing. If you're in healthcare you might struggle.
People: Generally pretty good. It took about 14 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: underrated. Tons of options if you like Thai.
It's not for everyone but it works for us..
