Hey folks, I'm a remote worker and You can expect to pay around $1,197 for rent here. Average temperature is around 65--F, so the weather is moderate. The city has invested a lot in new development. Has anyone dealt with this?

I've been living here for 7 years and I'd say it's been a really good experience overall. The walkability is underrated compared to other places I've lived. Overall Hope this helps!.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 13 years ago from Seattle and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Pine Hills. It's surprisingly good for what you get.
Jobs: The market is manageable right now, especially in education. If you're in engineering you might struggle.
People: Generally pretty good. It took about 8 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: pretty good. Tons of options if you like BBQ.
