What Hillcrest does better than anywhere else

Median household income is $44,954, which feels on the lower side for the area. Poverty rate is 26.4%, which is higher than I expected. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Thoughts? Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want outdoor recreation, then yeah this place is great. But if community vibe matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.
