Best areas to explore in Hilliard?

Hi all, Born and raised here. The unemployment rate is 1.7%, which is pretty low. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. What would you do? Thanks in advance! There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The suburbs are where most families end up. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.

Hot take but I'm still on the fence after all this time. I know a lot of people disagree but after 14 years here, that's my honest assessment.

Used to live on the East side, now on the Cedar Grove side. Completely different vibe. it exceeded my expectations.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 11 years ago from Charlotte and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Downtown. It's excellent for what you get.

Jobs: The market is developing right now, especially in construction. If you're in legal you might struggle.

People: Generally better than expected. It took about 16 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: better than expected. Tons of options if you like Italian.

Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are excellent, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

Came here for family and stayed because I have mixed feelings honestly. The walkability is honestly pretty good and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
