Studio apartments in Hillsboro -options?

Not sure if this has been asked before, but I work in engineering and The median home value here is around $483,400, which is pretty steep. Median household income is $103,207, which feels pretty solid for the area. Average temperature is around 53--F, so expect cold winters. Crime rate is something to consider -Hillsboro sits at 247.9 per 100K. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The weather takes some getting used to. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The city has invested a lot in new development.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 2 years ago from San Diego and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Older homes are where the value is. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Riverside. It's challenging for what you get.

Jobs: The market is reasonable right now, especially in healthcare. If you're in retail you might struggle.

People: Generally improving. It took about 17 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: surprisingly good. Tons of options if you like craft beer.

Would recommend to anyone considering it..
