With a population of 11,122, Hillsborough is a small town. You can expect to pay around $3,501 for rent here. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Should I be concerned? The city has invested a lot in new development. Property taxes are high but you get good services.
