Is Hilton Head Island good for remote workers?

Not sure if this has been asked before, but I'm a teacher here and Poverty rate is 6.2%, which is pretty low. You can expect to pay around $1,518 for rent here. Average temperature is around 68--F, so the weather is moderate. Crime rate is something to consider -Hilton Head Island sits at 306.4 per 100K. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.
