Relocating to Hilton Head Island, SC -pros and cons?

First post here. Household incomes average around $96,715 in Hilton Head Island. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. What do you all think? People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Property taxes are high but you get good services.

I've lived in The Heights for about 7 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it was the best decision I ever made. When I first moved here from Boston, I was surprised by healthcare. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Good schools in most areas
- The public transit scene is decent

The downsides:
- Summers can be brutally hot
- Urban sprawl is real

Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for singles. Hope this helps!.

We moved here with our family and I have mixed feelings honestly. Schools in Uptown area are tough. Kids love it here.
