Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 3-bedroom. I love the pace of life here. Compared to Baltimore it's better than expected.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem excellent.

I've been here 2 years and I genuinely enjoy living here. The thing nobody mentions is outdoor recreation. It's established and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the job market is legit. And if you're into running, this place is pretty good.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The The Heights side vs the Pine Hills side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

No regrets on my end..

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are pretty good, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

The food scene here is average. Tons of great Italian places. I genuinely enjoy living here.

Hot take but I genuinely enjoy living here. I know a lot of people disagree but after 11 years here, that's my honest assessment.

Used to live on the Maple Ridge side, now on the Greenfield side. Completely different vibe. I genuinely enjoy living here.

My experience has been mostly positive. it was the best decision I ever made. The only thing I'd watch out for is public transit. Other than that, Would recommend to anyone considering it..
