Hinesville quality of life -am I missing something?
Been meaning to ask this. Poverty rate is 12.8%, which is around average. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The weather takes some getting used to. What do you all think? It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

We moved here with our family and I genuinely enjoy living here. Schools in Oak Park area are average. Kids love it here.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a writer who relocated here from Nashville about 11 years ago. The main reasons were weather and work.
Pros I've experienced:
- Good internet infrastructure
- Diverse dining options
- Lots of family-friendly activities
Cons that are real:
- Limited public transit options
- Property taxes are high
Financially, we've found it better than expected compared to where we came from. Lots of new construction which should help. Groceries are affordable, gas is hit or miss.
Socially, I love the pace of life here. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

I've been living here for 1 years and I'd say the quality of life is solid. The nightlife is excellent compared to other places I've lived. Overall Feel free to reach out with questions..

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. it's not perfect but it works for me. Internet is underrated in most areas.
