Hello, Just moved here 15 months ago and Poverty rate is 1.3%, which is pretty low. With a population of 17,155, Hinsdale is a small town. The suburbs are where most families end up. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Should I be concerned?

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 13 years ago from San Francisco and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Older homes are where the value is. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in South. It's surprisingly good for what you get.
Jobs: The market is stable right now, especially in tech. If you're in government you might struggle.
People: Generally surprisingly good. It took about 16 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: excellent. Tons of options if you like sushi.

Jobs: The market is growing right now, especially in hospitality. If you're in manufacturing you might struggle.
People: Generally solid. It took about 10 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: surprisingly good. Tons of options if you like Thai.
