Anyone work in healthcare in Hobart?
Just moved here 12 months ago and Homes are going for about $893,700 on average. The unemployment rate is 2.1%, which is pretty low. Poverty rate is 4.6%, which is pretty low. Crime rate is something to consider -Hobart sits at 51.3 per 100K. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. What do you all think? Cheers. The weather takes some getting used to. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.
