Job market in Hobe Sound for tech?

Hey folks, The unemployment rate is 2.5%, which is pretty low. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Any advice would be great. Thanks in advance! It's not perfect, but the community is solid.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is public transit. it's exactly what I was looking for. Worth doing your research before committing.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem improving.

I've been here 8 years and I genuinely enjoy living here. The thing nobody mentions is job market. It's pricey and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the dating scene is legit. And if you're into hiking, this place is surprisingly good.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Riverside side vs the East side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Happy to answer more specific questions..

Came here for school and stayed because it exceeded my expectations. The cost of living is honestly improving and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Used to live on the Midtown side, now on the Sunset side. Completely different vibe. it exceeded my expectations.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want pet-friendliness, then yeah this place is great. But if housing market matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, I genuinely enjoy living here. No regrets on my end..
