Housing in Hoboken compared to Los Angeles

Hello, I relocated for work and Crime rate is something to consider -Hoboken sits at 147.3 per 100K. Household incomes average around $176,943 in Hoboken. With a population of 58,340, Hoboken is a smaller city. You can expect to pay around $2,819 for rent here. The city has invested a lot in new development. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Any advice would be great. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The weather takes some getting used to. The suburbs are where most families end up. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.

I've been living here for 15 years and I'd say I genuinely enjoy living here. The traffic is decent compared to other places I've lived. Overall It's not for everyone but it works for us..
