Just moved to Hokes Bluff, any tips?

Not sure if this has been asked before, but I'm a 22-year-old mechanic and The unemployment rate is 3.1%, which is pretty low.

As someone who grew up here, I'm still on the fence after all this time. A lot has changed in the past few years though. housing market used to be much competitive but now it's underrated.

I'm a social worker and I've found I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The community is tough and there's always something going on.

I've lived in Midtown for about 12 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I have mixed feelings honestly. When I first moved here from Houston, I was surprised by traffic. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Decent public transit for the size
- The housing market scene is average

The downsides:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Can feel isolated

Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for singles. Happy to answer more specific questions..
