Anyone else feel this way? Military spouse here. Average temperature is around 53--F, so expect cold winters. Homes are going for about $700,100 on average. Median household income is $112,369, which feels pretty solid for the area. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The suburbs are where most families end up. Is this normal for Holladay? I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 4-bedroom. the quality of life is solid. Compared to Miami it's improving.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want cost of living, then yeah this place is great. But if healthcare matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

My experience has been mostly positive. I genuinely enjoy living here. The only thing I'd watch out for is traffic. Other than that, Good luck with whatever you decide..
