Healthcare options in Hollister?

Been meaning to ask this. Rent is about $1,846/month for a decent place. The median home value here is around $679,300, which is pretty steep. Median household income is $101,979, which feels pretty solid for the area. The unemployment rate is 4.3%, which is about average. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The suburbs are where most families end up. Any help is appreciated. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Came here for my partner's job and stayed because it was the best decision I ever made. The job market is honestly hit or miss and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Hot take but I love the pace of life here. I know a lot of people disagree but after 10 years here, that's my honest assessment.

I'm a nurse and I've found I'm still on the fence after all this time. The community is average and there's always something going on.

Came here for work and stayed because it's not perfect but it works for me. The dating scene is honestly excellent and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a sales manager who relocated here from Denver about 3 years ago. The main reasons were work and school.

Pros I've experienced:
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Lots of new development happening
- Diverse dining options

Cons that are real:
- Not a lot of cultural diversity
- Homeless population growing downtown

Financially, we've found it excellent compared to where we came from. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. Groceries are established, gas is excellent.

Socially, it's exactly what I was looking for. Hope this helps!.

As someone who grew up here, there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. A lot has changed in the past few years though. pet-friendliness used to be much manageable but now it's surprisingly good.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Happy to answer more specific questions..
