How is Holly Springs for outdoor activities?

Hello, Crime rate is something to consider -Holly Springs sits at 100.8 per 100K. You can expect to pay around $1,927 for rent here. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Worth the trade-offs? Thanks for reading. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Property taxes are high but you get good services. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The city has invested a lot in new development. The food scene here is surprisingly good. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is safety. it was the best decision I ever made. Worth doing your research before committing.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 15 years ago from Dallas and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Springfield. It's tough for what you get.

Jobs: The market is manageable right now, especially in engineering. If you're in education you might struggle.

People: Generally challenging. It took about 10 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: challenging. Tons of options if you like Mediterranean.

No regrets on my end..

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem better than expected.

I've been here 11 years and I have mixed feelings honestly. The thing nobody mentions is outdoor recreation. It's wild and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the job market is legit. And if you're into surfing, this place is improving.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The East side vs the Cedar Grove side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Happy to answer more specific questions..

Hot take but it's exactly what I was looking for. I know a lot of people disagree but after 1 years here, that's my honest assessment.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 3 years ago from Houston and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Older homes are where the value is. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Cedar Grove. It's decent for what you get.

Jobs: The market is affordable right now, especially in marketing. If you're in consulting you might struggle.

People: Generally average. It took about 18 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: improving. Tons of options if you like Southern.
