Is Holly Springs still affordable?

So, We're a young couple and Household incomes average around $111,224 in Holly Springs. Average temperature is around 60--F, so the weather is moderate. The median home value here is around $414,700, which is pretty steep. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Is this normal for Holly Springs? It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.

I've lived in Eastside for about 3 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I'm still on the fence after all this time. When I first moved here from Raleigh, I was surprised by nightlife. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Good internet infrastructure
- Four distinct seasons
- The public transit scene is better than expected

The downsides:
- Rising rent and home prices
- Not very walkable outside downtown

Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for families. It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Used to live on the Oak Park side, now on the Pine Hills side. Completely different vibe. it's been a really good experience overall.
