What to expect moving to Holly Springs?

Military spouse here. Crime rate is something to consider -Holly Springs sits at 100.8 per 100K. Household incomes average around $111,224 in Holly Springs. You can expect to pay around $1,927 for rent here. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Let me know your thoughts. Any help is appreciated. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

Hot take but I'm still on the fence after all this time. I know a lot of people disagree but after 6 years here, that's my honest assessment.

Public transit is excellent here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I genuinely enjoy living here.

Came here for quality of life and stayed because it's exactly what I was looking for. The outdoor recreation is honestly decent and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Weather-wise, the summers are tough and winters are affordable. You get used to it after the first year.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 2 years ago from Minneapolis and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Older homes are where the value is. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Eastside. It's hit or miss for what you get.

Jobs: The market is manageable right now, especially in marketing. If you're in real estate you might struggle.

People: Generally better than expected. It took about 4 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: surprisingly good. Tons of options if you like Korean.

Hope this helps!.
